Soak the raw rice for 3 hours.
After 3 hours drain the water completely.
Grind this into a fine paste by adding jaggery, coconut and cardamom powder. I used 4 whole cardamom pods.
Use the grated cucumber water to grind this batter.
Before grating the cucumber just check the taste is not bitter.
Once the smooth paste is ready, add the grated cucumber to the batter.
Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
The batter will be in the consistency of regular dosa batter.
Heat a dosa tawa and start making dosas immediately.
Pour 2 ladles of batter on the hot tawa and spread like a dosa.
Do not spread very thin. Also, let it not be as thick as uttapam.
Drizzle ghee or oil on the sides.
Once one side is cooked, flip the dosa.
Cook for a minute and take out.
Repeat this for the rest of the batter.
Serve hot.
