Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut optional
  • ¼ +2 tbsp cup ghee
  • Few Cashew nuts
  • Few pistachios
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • In a pan add ¼ cup ghee.
  • Once it is melted add finely chopped cashew nuts and pistachios.
  • Roast till golden. Since it is finely chopped it will get roasted immediately.
  • So be careful not to burn it.
  • In a wide bowl add 1 cup milk powder.
  • Add 2 tbsp desiccated coconut. This is optional.
  • Add 1/3 cup powdered sugar. I powdered ¼ cup +2 tbsp sugar.
  • Now add in ¼ tsp cardamom powder. You can add milk masala too.
  • Mix well and add the melted hot ghee mixture.
  • Mix well with a spoon.
  • Take a small portion and make ladoos.
  • If you can’t make ladoos add 1-2 tbsp more hot ghee. I added 2 tbsp extra ghee while shaping the ladoos.
  • Milk powder ladoo ready.

Notes

The amount of ghee depends on the texture of the milk powder.
• I added ¼ cup ghee then added 2 tbsp more later.
• Always add hot ghee to the milk powder, then only it is easy to make ladoos.
• Sugar level was perfect, you can add a little more if you want.
• Some milk powders will be sweet, so in that case, you can lessen the sugar to ¼ cup.
