Biscuit pudding recipe | serradura pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed Marie biscuits
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Crush the marie biscuits into a slightly coarse powder.
  • In a wide bowl add 1 cup of chilled whipping cream.
  • Add 3 tbsp of condensed milk to this.
  • Now add 1 tsp of vanilla essence.
  • Whip this in a electric beater till you get soft peaks.
  • Do not over beat, else it will become butter.
  • Now lets assemble this in serving glass | bowl.
  • Layer one portion of crushed marie biscuit, I put around 2-3 tbsp
  • Top it with a layer of whipped cream.
  • Then again add 2-3 tbsp of crushed biscuits.
  • Top it again with whipped cream.
  • Drizzle few crushed biscuits on the top most layer.
  • You can add some chocolate shavings or chocolate chips too.
  • Cover it with a cling wrap or aluminum foil.
  • Keep it inside the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight.
  • Enjoy it cold.

Notes

1.You can add 1 tbsp cocoa powder to the whipping cream and then whip it. 2. Digestives biscuits also works well for this Serradura pudding | Biscuit pudding
