Carrot Milkshake recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot
  • 5 dates
  • 3 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup Chilled Milk
  • Few pistachios to garnish

Instructions

  • Peel the skin of carrots and grate the carrot.
  • Alternatively you can roughly chop them too.
  • Soak the dates in ¼ cup of hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Drain the water and blend the dates, grated carrot, and 1/4 cup of milk into a smooth paste.
  • Add the remaining milk and mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. You can add 1-2 tsp of cocoa powder or drinking chocolate to this while blending.
  2.  Few almonds can be soaked in hot water and added to the carrot milkshake.
  3.  A scoop of Vanilla ice cream can be added while grinding, to get a creamier Carrot Milkshake.
