- 2 cups Mixed Fruits*
- 1/2 cup Sugar I used Raw sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 10 Cashew nuts
- Cardamom powder a pinch optional
- *I used Pineapple seedless grapes, apples and bananas. You can use mango, dates and raisins too.
Chop the fruits into small cubes. Slice the banana into roundels.
In a pan add sugar and add 1/2 cup of water. I used brown sugar.
Boil the sugar till it reaches a one-string consistency.
Once the consistency reaches, switch off the flame.
Add the cut fruits to this. Add cardamom powder to this(if adding)
Add the cashew nuts to this need to roast the cashew nuts in ghee. Add it raw.
If adding raisins and dates add now.
Cover it and keep it aside for an hour or 2 hours.
Serve it along with a traditional South Indian meal.
You can have this as a dessert too.
