Karupatti coffee recipe

Ingredients

Karupatti | palm jaggery
1
tsp
instant coffee powder or decoction as needed

cups
water
Instructions
In a saucepan add the karupatti and add 2 cups of water.
Allow this to boil for 5 minutes.
Filter the Karupatti water.
Add 1 tsp instant coffee powder or 1 tbsp of decoction.
Mix well and serve hot.
Karupatti coffee is ready.

Notes
If you want to add milk add ¼ cup of room temperature milk to this.
Hot milk may curdle the coffee, so ensure the milk is not hot.
Karupatti coffee is a perfect one after a heavy breakfast or on a rainy day.
