Oats nuts laddu, Oats ladoo recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats i used quick cooking oats
  • 1/3 cup Nuts I used almonds and cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/8 tsp Cardamom powder
  • ½ cup Coconut Sugar*
  • *You can use organic jaggery | clean jaggery without impurities or raw sugar or brown sugar too.

Instructions

  • In a pan, dry roast the 1 cup of oats for 10 minutes. Do not change the color.
  • Cool completely and powder this in a mixie.
  • In the same pan, add 1/3 cup of nuts and roast till brown spots appear on it.
  • Cool this and add it to the powdered oats.
  • Pulse it in the mixer a few times, let this be coarse.
  • Transfer this to a bowl.
  • Add 1/2 cup of coconut sugar.
  • Add 1/8 tsp of cardamom powder.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of ghee, then add it to the bowl.
  • Mix well and start making ladoos.
  • It came around 11 ladoos.
