Chop the banana stem into fine pieces.
Take out the fibre from the banana stem as you cut them.
I cut them the previous day and put them in water.
Add 1 tbsp of curd till you use, this helps in avoiding decolouration.
When it is ready to use, drain the water completely.
Add the finely chopped banana stem to a wide bowl.
We are adding it raw, no need to cook. It is ok to consume the banana stem raw.
Add 1 finely chopped onions, ¼ cup chopped cucumber, ½ tomato chopped, ¼ cup grated carrot and little salt.
Do not add more salt, we will be adding chaat masala and chaat chutneys.
Now add ¼ tsp red chili powder and 1 tsp chaat masala.
Add 3-4 tbsp roasted peanuts, alternatively you can add boiled peanuts too.
To this add 2 tbsp sev, I added South Indian Omapodi.
Now add 2 tbsp sweet chutney and 2 tbsp of green chutney to this.
Mix everything well.
Garnish with coriander leaves
Lastly add 2 tbsp of sev.
