Avarakkai curry recipe

Avarakkai curry recipe | South Indian style avarakkai poriyal recipe with step-by-step pictures.

We usually make Avarakkai curry by just cooking it and adding coconut at the end. Being bored of making that, I wanted to make it in a different way. This is a different way of making broad beans poriyal which I learned from a friend. Everyone at home liked it and we had this avarakkai poriyal with rasam rice. Check out my beans curry and carrot peas cabbage poriyal.

Notes

Notes:
1. You can skip the shallots and add 1 clove of garlic to this.
2. If you don’t want to use onion/garlic, you can simply grind coconut and jeera and add them to the avarakkai poriyal
