A simple lunch on a fridge clearing day with Aviyal, ellu podi and vendakkai curry. We all love podis and a simple appalam and a kootu combo is a welcoming one in our family. Last week when i was cleaning up the fridge, i was left with a bit of most of the veggies. So decided to make Aviyal with all left over veggies. I always keep a stock of some podi at home. Paruppu podi is the common one available in my kitchen but this time i made fresh ellu podi at home. I made a video on how to make verkdalai urundai, so had it as a dessert after lunch. On the plate
