Dahi tadka sandwich recipe | Easy sandwich recipes perfect for the summer season – recipe with full video and step-by-step pictures.
In the last few months, I have seen so many versions of Dahi toast on my Instagram feed. I have already posted the Yogurt sandwich recipe in Jeyashris kitchen. That version of the sandwich is made by adding veggies to the hung curd. Also, we are making a tadka with mustard and curry leaves and making the sandwich. This gives a nice taste and crunch to the sandwich.
As summer is getting to its peak, we prefer to spend less time in the kitchen, try this sandwich for breakfast along with some cut fresh fruits or try it for dinner along with a salad. If you have pre-made green chutney and hung curd at home, this one is very simple to assemble. I used homemade green chutney, you can use store-bought one too. You can keep the homemade curd in a tea strainer and keep it inside the refrigerator.

Notes:
- You can add sliced onions, grated carrots, and cabbage to the hung curd. Add salt and mix well and spread it on the bread instead of adding plain hung curd.
- Do not skip the tadka part with mustard seeds and curry leaves, it gives an amazing taste to the sandwich.
- Dahi tadka sandwich should be sent for kids snacks box, but they can not stay good for long hours as the hung curd might make it soggy.
