  • When it is done transfer to a serving bowl.

Notes:
  1. Sambar powder can be replaced with 1 and 1/2 tsp of red chili powder and 1/2 tsp of  coriander powder.
  2. This potato curry goes well with pooris and rotis too.

Hello just learning to cook and finding your blog to be wonderful.
For potato curry, I put normal level of salt but now finding it to be more (may be because i used sambhar powder and not chilly powder? Not sure)
In such circumstances, how do i correct it later. Thanks

Thanks for the message. Once salt is bit more, you can not rectify it esp in curries. Sambar powder or chilli powder doesnt make difference. We never add salt in Sambar powder
