Sweet pidi kozhukattai

Sweet pidi kozhukattai recipe, with full video and detailed step by step pictures.

I have seen in many of my friend’s place they make this sweet pidi kozhukattai for Ganesh Chaturthi | Pillayar Chaturthi. Amma never makes this at home. I wanted to post this sweet pidi kozhukattai recipe for the past few years but some how couldn’t do that. Finally tried this last week but somehow it turned out dry. Later spoke with few friends and they told the tips and tricks to make soft kozhukattai.

Amma told that it is similar to our karadaiyan nombu vella adai and I tried in the similar way. It turned out super soft and juicy. I completely enjoyed it. I have posted many varieties of kozhukattai | Modakam in Jeyashri’s Kitchen.

This sweet pidi kozhukattai is an easy one and can be made using store-bought idiyappam flour or rice flour. Check out the complete collection of Ganesh Chaturthi recipes.
