Ganesh chaturthi recipes – Compilatation of Ganesh chaturthi recipes from Jeyashris kitchen

Ganesh Chaturthi | Pillayar Chaturthi recipes |Vinayagar Chaturthi recipes. We usually make Modakam, ulundu kozhakattai, Sundal, and Ulundu vadai for Ganesh chaturthi neivedyam. I have posted many varieties of modakam, both stuffed one and the North Indian style Modakam too.

I usually make the outer cover of modakam using hands but I have posted, how to make Kozhakattai using the mould as well. Usually, the outer cover is made using homemade rice flour. We can also use store-bought idiyappam flour for making the outer layer of Kozhakattai.

I have posted a detailed post on 4 ways to make Kozhakattai maavu, on Jeyashri’s kitchen. Apart from making the outer layer using idiyappam maavu or homemade rice flour, we make the outer layer by soaking and grinding raw rice.

Check out the different varieites of modakam and uppu kozhakattais from Jeyashris kitchen. Also, I have compiled this post with all the other neivedyam recipes in this post. Click on the names to get the link for the Ganesh chaturthi recipes.
