5 EASY RECIPES FOR KRISHNA JAYANTHI(GOKULASHTAMI) | JANMASHTAMI RECIPES


 Gokulashtami | Krishna Jayanthi 2016 falls on Aug 25. Though i have posted an elaborate post on recipes to make for Janmashtami , HERE, but if you are working and don’t have time to prepare for an elaborate neivedhyam like uppu seedai, vella seedai, mullu murruku or thattai or due to any health reasons if you can not make preparations the before day, here are 5 quick recipes that you can make for Neivedhyam to Lord Krishna on Gokulashtami | Krishna jayanthi.  In our family, we have the tradition as we have to fry some sweet or savory in oil on Krishna jayanthi. So even if ladies in the house can not go into the kitchen and make anything the men in the house make some simple vadai and aval payasam. My mil says that the smoke comes out from the oil get rids of the negative thoughts inside the house. Some more updated easy janmashtmi recipes.

  4. of all these am missing the aval payasam most. My neighbour in Bangalore used to send this for janmashtami. such a nice collection am sure people will try few of these.
