Karacha maavu dosai | Instant dosa recipe, popularly called as Karacha dosai in Tamil, the recipe with step by step pictures and a full video in Tamil. Dosa is a popular Indian breakfast recipe. We always make crispy dosa by grinding soaked rice and urad dal and then fermenting this for few hours. We also make Instant dosa using flours. This Karacha maavu dosai | Instant dosa recipe, which does not need any fermentation. It turned out super crispy like Rava dosa. At times when we run out of time to make the dosa batter, you can make this Karacha maavu dosai for breakfast or dinner too.

This dosa batter is made using wheat flour, rice flour, gram flour, and rava. You can add ragi flour or millet flour to this batter. The key tip to making crispy Instant dosas is to keep the tawa hot and the batter thin. If the batter is thick, dosas will come clumpy and hard. To get lacy crispy dosas, ensure the batter is watery.

If there is any leftover dosa batter, it can also be added to this. Check out my Instant Ragi Rava dosa, Millet Tomato dosa, Uppu huli khara dosa.
